"Many differing meanings are attributed to the card. To some, it symbolizes failure, ruin and catastrophe. To others, the Tower represents the paradigms constructed by the ego, the sum total of all schema that the mind constructs to understand the universe. The Tower is struck by lightning when reality does not conform to expectation."

The tower is traditionally show as being struck by lightning, often being set on fire as a result, and shows two people fleeing from it, often by the most direct route: falling outside it. Showing what caused the lightning to strike in the first place was far more fun.

I probably should've practiced drawing Pikachus before starting this one. This drawing definately doesn't do her creator justice.
