OC: Combo

Combo is one of my long-forgotten characters. Back in middle school, I started thinking up my own videogame console, the Neptune Nova (NNova) as well as several games for it. This was long before I discovered the online video game fan community (the old Macs in the resource room where I typed everything up didn't have Internet; I don't think any of the computers in the school did), so most everything was based on real-life objects and experiences of mine. Games included the State Spy series (about an American spy trying to keep the Queen of England from taking over the United States) and the Rev series (which started as a kart-racing game that later earned a bowling title). Many of the titles were self-insertive and featured me (actual human me) and my brother, such as the Yosie's Bunny of a Tale series (a platformer inspired by my favorite stuffed animal, Beebunny). There were also at least two based on the old Tama and Friends anime I loved at the time (I miss it oh so much). Some of the most prominent tiles were the Yosie's Power Puzzle titles (including Yosie's Power Pactris, a Tetris game), where were puzzle games that featured my brother and I and my little character Combo. Eventually, my inability to access my Macintosh-created files due to the lack of Macs in my high school dragged everything within, including Combo, into obscurity until I decided to draw him today. My brother remembered Combo when I said I was drawing him; I believe that says something.

CONSTANTS:
Combo is a tiny machine, eight inches to a foot in height including his key and about a foot in diameter. Like one of those scooting mechanical vacuums, Combo can move and rotate in any direction smoothly. The key on his head is always turning clockwise at a slow-to-moderate pace. While he is robotic, he is programmed to act friendly; he is also very good at puzzle games and especially at making combos, thus his name. His lid can flip open to extend a mechanical hand used to operate objects, mostly the wheel on large Tetris machines.

CURRENT STORY:
Sadly, with the fading away of the NNova system, Combo lost all pretense of background and thus does not have is own individual story. Although I have discovered recently that he could be passed for a Kirby fancharacter, especially since his color scheme an general design was based off Sparky. A familiar of mine also said Combo could pass as a Mega Man regular enemy robot. He's even about Mettool size.
