The Fellowship of Neutrality

The story of a four-man adventuring party that's always, somehow, somewhere, in the middle of things.

Various readings into Dungeons & Dragons, spurred by Another Gaming Comic, inspired my brother and I to collaborate on our own fantasy storyline that uses D&D as a starting point in helping to build the world. I intended the storyline to be presented as either a webcomic or a web serial.

It started as Loonie of Spades, starring the half-mad sorcerer Ikera the Unwanted and his familiar, Rodney the chipmunk, as they explored their world and got into all kinds of trouble. Eventually things developed into him being a member of a four-part team, the Fellowship of Neutrality, named as such because each one had a partially neutral alignment (Ikera was Chaotic Neutral, as you could guess). They had an epic quest ahead of them, and Rodney was changed into a squirrel. I even worked out this cool logo in Flash.

We scrapped most of that concept because we couldn't really flesh out the other main characters. Currently, Ikera's once again flying solo, although we intend to carry over a few of the plot ideas we/I thought up for Neutrality. Now it turns out Ikera's worked with and pissed off (the official term) more than a few people...
